Delete your VociApp account
Important
Deleting your VociApp account permanently removes the account and account-scoped server-side learning data where deletion is legally and technically possible. It does not automatically cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Manage active subscriptions in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.
Delete Your Account in the App
- Open VociApp and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Open Account.
- Scroll to Delete account.
- Read the deletion and subscription notice.
- Confirm the final deletion step by typing DELETE.
The in-app flow deletes the VociApp account, account profile, synced cloud data, AI entitlement and quota records, and local account-scoped data on the current device. Guest-local data that was never assigned to the account is not deleted by this account deletion flow.
If You Cannot Access the App
- Email vociapp.support@gmail.com with the subject line VociApp Account Deletion Request.
- Send the request from the email address used for your VociApp account, if possible.
- Include the VociApp account email address and state that you want your account deleted.
- Do not send your password. We will never ask for your password by email.
We may need to verify that the request comes from the account holder before completing a web/email deletion request.
What Will Be Deleted
For an in-app deletion or verified deletion request, we delete or anonymize account-associated server-side data where legally and technically possible, including:
- VociApp account and profile records
- synced decks, cards, review logs, learning progress, settings, stats, and related account-scoped learning data
- AI entitlement records, quota records, and non-essential AI usage records linked to the account where deletion is permitted
- deck subscription relationships and account-specific synced content relationships
- local account-scoped data on the device where the in-app deletion is performed
What May Be Retained
Some records may be retained where necessary for legitimate reasons, such as:
- security, abuse prevention, fraud prevention, and audit logs
- billing, subscription, refund, tax, or dispute records held by Apple or Google
- legal compliance or enforcement of terms
- backup records until they expire through normal backup retention cycles
- support emails related to the deletion request or prior support cases, where retention is reasonably necessary
Local Device Data
The in-app deletion flow removes local account-scoped data on the current device after the server-side deletion succeeds. Data stored only as guest-local data may remain until you delete it locally, reset local data where available, or uninstall the app.
Guest-Local Data
If you used VociApp without an account, there may be no server-side account data to delete. Guest-local data is stored on your device and can be removed by deleting local data or uninstalling the app.
Expected Timing
The in-app deletion flow is designed to complete immediately when the device is online and the backend is available. Web/email deletion requests may take longer because account-holder verification can be required. Complex requests, backup expiration, legal retention, fraud prevention, or platform billing dependencies may also take longer.
Subscriptions Before Deletion
If you have an active App Store or Google Play subscription, cancel it through Apple or Google if you do not want renewal. Deleting your VociApp account does not control Apple ID or Google Play billing records. Apple subscriptions can be managed at https://apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.
