Data We Process
BasketStats is designed to work primarily on-device. The App may process the following categories of data:
1. Data you create in the App
This may include:
- shot chart entries, including shot location, make or miss result, shot type, quarter, and timestamp
- game statistics such as assists, rebounds, fouls, and turnovers

Purpose:
- to provide the App's core functionality
- to save your game and restore it when you reopen the App
- to generate accurate shot charts and game summaries
2. Exported report files
If you export a game report, the App generates a PDF file locally on your device.
This may include:
- shot charts
- quarter summaries
- assists, rebounds, fouls, and turnovers
- totals and timestamps contained in the report
Purpose:
- to let you review, keep, or share a report of the recorded game
The App does not upload exported reports to our own servers.
3. Support communications
If you contact us by email, we will process the information you include in that message, such as your email address, device details, app version, and problem description.
Purpose:
- to answer support requests
- to investigate bugs or app behavior
4. Purchases and subscriptions
BasketStats may offer optional Pro features through Apple In-App Purchase, including subscriptions and a one-time lifetime unlock. Purchases, subscription billing, refunds, and payment information are handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your full payment card details.
The App may use StoreKit purchase and entitlement information provided by Apple to determine whether Pro features should be available on your device. This may include current entitlement status, subscription status, and app transaction information such as the original app version used to preserve access for customers who previously purchased BasketStats as a paid app.
Purpose:
- to unlock purchased Pro features
- to restore purchases
- to preserve access for existing paid-app customers where supported by App Store records
Data We Do Not Collect
We do not knowingly collect or receive through the App:
- your name
- phone number
- precise location
- contacts
- photos
- browsing history
- health data
- full payment card information
- user-generated content uploaded to our servers
We also do not use the App to profile users for advertising or behavioral marketing.
Tracking

The App's privacy-related configuration states that tracking is disabled and that no data is collected for tracking purposes.
Third-Party Services
The App does not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs, and it does not operate a backend service for gameplay data.
The App may rely on Apple platform services and frameworks, including StoreKit for In-App Purchases, local file storage, document preview, and system email handling when you choose to contact support.
These Apple services are governed by Apple's own terms, policies, and platform behavior.

Legal Basis and Purpose of Processing
Where applicable under privacy laws, we process data because it is necessary:

- your device or system settings remove the stored app data
Support emails are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to handle your request and any follow-up related to that request.
Security
We use reasonable measures appropriate to the nature of the App to help protect information processed by BasketStats. App data remains in the app sandbox on your device, and exported files are written with local file protection enabled by the app where supported.
